Easter Sunday

The week before Easter all the brothers and their families were in town. We dyed eggs at Nana's house with all the Stokes' cousins! So fun!!

Tatum and Livy were pretty excited about their eggs.
Ellie and Eli were pretty excited about the fish. Such sweet little cuties!
We spent Easter morning and Church with my parents this year! Tatum was loving her dress and wanted lots of pictures.

We had a wonderful Easter celebrating our Risen King and being with family.

I forgot to put this picture in the other day of the kids coming up the field with cousin Livy. It was to cute. It makes me realize they are growing way to quickly.

March wrap-April

We finished spring break off in the lone star state for a beautiful wedding and reception. Dan's cousin got married in this cute little church.
The last day of March we were off to do a race. It was gorgeous. We ran across the river dam and back. The view was so pretty up there. Jay and Erika drove up and joined us. I love getting to do these races with friends and family. They keep me going and inspire me.

David and Marcia also came in last weekend and it was beautiful weather. We spent April 1st out on the lake as is the Stokes' boys tradition. It's opening day of lake season for them. Thankfully this year it was just almost hot enough to jump in. Some years it's miserable. The kids loved every minute. They even tubed but  they were not happy with the cold water. We all got a little sunburned that weekend.

Last Thursday evening while sitting around the dinner table the guys got a phone call from their dad that wild hogs were running across the property. They went after them. Dan got this one. Thank goodness! I hope they start getting more. These things are scary and dangerous. They attack other animals and we have even heard some cases of people being attacked while out walking. They have been traveling in packs of 40-100.
